Taxation is an key part of Quiddage.

Smart business owners avoid making products with high tax rates and look for opportunities to earn extra by recycling or upcycling items.

Sugar / Fat tax - 60%

$NZ tax - 30%

Gambling tax - 90%

Environmental impact tax - 50%

Recycled or upcycled products rebate - 50%

If businesses have products that fall into several tax brackets, they will be charged at the highest rate eg business owners use $NZ to buy icing sugar to make sherbert, and then serves it in recycled paper cups, they will be charged 60% tax.
Even if you already have ingredients / materials at home, they would have been paid for with $NZ at some point, so that would still count as $NZ tax.
A very small number of $NZ may be spent without incurring a high tax rate.
